Watertown Skating Club Program Schedule

This is our typical schedule but we often have to adjust it. Please check the calendar, emails, Facebook or the home page for changes we may have to make for any particular day.

    SATURDAY MORNING
9:00- 9:45 Adult Practice, private lessons and Junior Instructors-$10 Guest
9:45- 10:00 Basic Skills 1-4 Warm Up
10:00- 10:30 Basic Skills 1-4 lessons (4 separate groups)
10:30- 10:45 Basic Skills 1-4 practice / Basic Skills 5-8 and FS warm up
10:45- 11:15 Basic Skills 5-8 / FS lessons (4 separate groups)
    FS 1-3 lessons Nick or FS 4-6 lessons Nicole
11:15- 11:30 Basic Skills 5-8 & FS Power Clinic with Sue
11:30- 11:45 Basic Skills 5-8 & FS Moves in the Field
11:45- 12:00 Basic Skills 5-8 & FS Preliminary FS with Nick

4:30- 5:30 Basic 1-4 Practice, Parent guesting $5
5:30- 5:45 Basic Skills 5-8 Stroking Clinic, BS 5/6 with Nick, BS 7/8 & FS with Nicole
5:45- 6:00 Basic Skills 5-8 & FS Moves in the Field with Sue
6:00- 6:30 Basic Skills 5-8 & FS Dance- Dutch Waltz with Sue, Canasta Tango with Nick, Rhythm Blues with Michelle, Partnering with Garrett
6:30- 6:45 FS for Junior Instructors with Nicole
6:45- 7:00 Zamboni
7:00- 7:30 Adult Practice $25 guest
7:30- 8:00 Adult Group Lesson
8:00- 8:30 Adult Practice
     
    WEDNESDAY NIGHT
7:00- 8:00 Synchro Class with Sue - Off ice until 7:30
7:30- 9:00 Adult & JI Practice $20 Guest

"Basic Skills" refers to the United States Figure Skating Association class "Basic Skills" which include entry level skills. More information can be found on the USFS website.

"FS" refers to the United States Figure Skating Association class "Free Skate," which includes more advanced skills which build on the Basic Skills curriculum.  More information can be found on the USFS website.

"JI" refers to "Junior Instructor," and they are skaters who have passed through the basic skills level 1-8 program and passed several dance tests. They volunteer their time to assist skaters in the basic skills 1-8 classes.
